Our Story
VULCAPLANT develops, produces, and distributes volcanic mineral mixes and volcanic aggregates for vegetation in general — specifically for nursery, ornamental, viticultural, fruit-growing, horticultural, and extreme vegetation (green roofs, hanging gardens, sound-absorbing barriers). Our volcanic mineral mixes represent a technological innovation in nursery, ornamental, horticultural, and floricultural fields — effectively creating a real revolution in these production sectors.
Our concept of substrate is based on the use of mineral elements, of variable granulometries, throughout the mix. This delivers a series of countless advantages for the present and future life of our plants and, in particular, for what is fundamental to a plant’s life: the roots. These mineral mixes, in fact, have the advantage of promoting rhizogenesis—that is, the entire life process of the root system of a plant—since volcanic minerals, in particular lapilli (vulcanite), are elements with a vascular conformation (visually similar to a sponge), which leads to greater water retention while also allowing greater drainage of excess irrigation water, preventing problems of water stagnation.

The perennial experience
